 LaJaye  LaJaye

LaJaye, the son of a Pastor originally from Washington, DC was raised in Trenton, NJ and like many children brought up in the church, it was R&B music that captivated him most causing him to seek out a career in the secular world of music. In doing so, LaJaye has opened for various artists' over the years such as Wanya Morris of Boyz II Men, Glenn Jones and Tisha Campbell to name a few. However, it was after God healed him of Sickle Cell that he realized he had to follow his true calling. Soon after becoming an ordained & Affirmed Apostle, he was reminded that he still had a passion to translate the heart of God to the world through music. LaJaye later stepped out on faith and began performing for churches and venues all over the world including the World famous Apollo Theater.

LaJaye released his first Gospel single "Stand Up" in 2013 with mediocre success but it was his second single that made people stand up (no pun intended) and take notice. Shortly after the release of "Stand Up" LaJaye suffered a massive heart attack that nearly took his life. Shortly thereafter he was selected to become a spokesperson for The American Heart Association where he now travels the world sharing his testimony and promoting heart health. This traumatic experience led him to team up with an old friend, R&B crooner Lenny Williams (Cause I Love You) for his hit "It's Yours" which has been dominating many of the music charts both in the U.S. and abroad.  Because of its success, LaJaye is set to re-release the single on his new label in addition to a second single entitled "I'm Sorry." Both singles are sure to prick the hearts of the UN Churched as well as the Churched. LaJaye's first full length project so perfectly entitled "It's Time" is scheduled to be released this fall. LaJaye has also made several appearances on local and National television shows such as The Bobby Jones Gospel Show, Atlanta Live TV 57, Dove TV 16, Niteline and the Local News in Greenville, SC. His songs are sure to inspire and empower listeners to live above the influence of the world through Jesus Christ. His sound, infused with real life testimonies will pull the listener in and help lead them to God's throne.

Along with La'Jaye's talents as a singer/songwriter, he is also a musician. His instruments include Guitar, Bass, Drums and Keys. To add to his list of credits he also has some acting under his belt. In 2001 He starred as the lead in David Payton's #1 Hit Gospel Stage Play, "A Good Man Is Hard To Find." Well with all of this, it truly seems like his journey is only beginning and from the response of the people, it appears as though we can only stand to get blessed by his ministry if we go along for the ride.
