Brandon Clay

Brandon Clay born in St. Rose, La also known as Bstreezy has showcased his talents both on and off stage. In 2007, his journey inside the music industry began. BStreezy earned his first placement on local radio station Q93, with single “Player for Life” featuring Raw Dizzy. The following year he repeated the same trend with another song titled “As You Wanna Be.” The most noticeable attribute that sets Bstreezy apart from other R&B artist is his ability to understand that fans are the most vital tool in the music business. Therefore, he is more concerned with the relationship that he has with the people who love his music. In mid 2008, he released his first album “The Love Story.” This album was recorded under the independent record label Maddloot Records, and sold 10,000 digital copies. The official single “You” hit the radio airways just weeks after the release of “The Love Story.” The single hit no.1 on a local urban radio station in Florida. That same year, BStreezy performed in over 6 different States and 26 different cities to promote the record. The intricate relationship between the people, Bstreeezy, and his music had just begun.

You may be wondering where all this talent and drive derived. He started his musical journey at Little Zion Baptist Church where he sang in the choir. He then branched off and became part of the ministering team. Although he loved singing and being an active member in church, somewhere down the line Brandon felt it was necessary to follow his heart’s own musical path. BStreezy credits his spiritual upbringing for his down to earth nature, which makes him the most laid back R&B artist that anyone has ever worked with.

Bstreezy gives credit for his style and music to the legendary sounds of Stevie Wonder, Smokey Robinson, Marvin Gaye, Bobby Womack, and Sam Cook; as well as the modern appeal of Trey Songs, Mario, and Usher. BStreezy fuses his style into chapters of a never-ending story. BStreezy has gained quite a bit of mileage in his journey. He has worked with A-list local producers such as Sinasta, Blair Taylor, Mike Bass, and many others.

BStreezy has also worked with A-list local artist and national artist such as Currensy, Chopper City Boy Snipe, Raw Dizzy, C-Murder Roi Anthony, and Lil Boosie. BStreezy is still making music under Indie Label Maddloot Records and is working on his new album. He is promoting his new single “She’s Bad’’ featuring Lil Boosie.” The single is now playing on a few radio stations and available on ITunes. The video is available for your viewing pleasure on YouTube. Stay tuned for more from this rising star.
