Calvin Richardson is an American R&B and soul singer and songwriter. Richardson was signed to Tommy Boy records back in the early 1990’s as a member of the R&B group Undacova. In the late 1990’s Richardson would branch off and start his journey on his solo career by signing with Universal Records. Although his first album “Country Boy” was a success selling 100,000 units, Richardson was dropped but soon signed with Hollywood Records. Richardson would go on to release additional albums, write and co-write music for other performers such as Raphael Saadiq’s album Instant Vintage and Charlie Wilson’s “There Goes My Baby” which was produced by Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds. Now under new management, Richardson releases his fifth album title “I Am Calvin”. Richardson graces our December 2014 issue with an exclusive interview inside. In this interview he talks about the new album and much more…..
