Kingston, Jamaica – December 8, 2012

Signature Records Recording artist STORM, born Kelly-Ann Minto and hails from the parish of St. Catherine, is on the rise as she is steadily creating waves in her career path while storming her way in the hearts of many worldwide.

Considered to be the Jamaican version of Tracy Chapman by the members of her community, Marine Park, where she was also a crowd pleaser at their annual festivities and at Barbeques held at Holy Childhood High School which she attended, she has continued on that musical path and is set to create a storm wherever she performs.

Storm has become a household name in Baltimore where she resides and has shared a stage with an array of artists such as, Sanchez, Junior Reid, Turbulence, Buju Banton, Ken Boothe, Mavado, Baby Cham, Junior Kelly, Yami Bolo, Johnny Osbourne, Junior Cat, Junior Demus, Boom Dandimite, Noppa Toppa, General Pecos, Lady Saw, Sean Paul, Beenie Man, and many more.

Her soulful melody and lyrical eloquence is evident in her songs “Me Gone”, “Lioness”, “Mr. Pedophile”, “Daddy Where Were You” and “Unpredictable Love” that are currently in heavy rotation on both Radio Stations and Internet Radio worldwide.

The singles “Daddy Where Were You” and “Mr. Pedophile” are songs that are very touching because it has to do with children and means a lot as she explained below:

“I wrote Daddy Where Were You with the intent to reach out to the fathers who play absentee roles in the lives of their children or, often times, no role at all; The absentee fathers are those who think that showering a child with gifts can make up for missing out on those important moments in that child's life”.

"Mr. Pedophile was written after I had read numerous broadcasts, via social media in the span of a week, about missing, molested, and abused children and teens; being a lover of children, I was saddened and irked. This is a worldwide issue that has affected children for many years and I felt compelled to make my voice heard. Music, being a universal language, was the only way I could get my message across to the masses of how I, as well as others, feel about this perverted and abnormal behavior. Pen was put to paper and the rest is history”.

Her debut album titled “Nostalgia”, a Sentimental Journey back to the Good Old Days of Reggae will be released by Signature Records via VP Records on January 1st of 2013. The album boast collaboration with Eddie Fitzroy, Michael Buckley and General Pecos has already gotten the thumbs up from music industry personnel who has given a listening ear thus far.
