Miami Songstress, Cherlise, releases “Ground Zero” Mixtape

(Atlanta, Georgia, November 30, 2011)— Division 1’s own Cherlise is Miami’s newest diva in the making. Opening for the likes of Ludacris and Bobby Valentino, she can go from a personal, heartfelt ballad to a club banger in the blink of an eye. At the same time, she elevates choruses and hypnotizes with every flawless dance move. Rico Love properly introduces Cherlise via the explosive debut single "Love You Right" featuring Lil Wayne. Produced by Love, this hyper-charged anthem boasts a seductive hook from Cherlise and a sleek verse from Lil Wayne. Meeting the multi-platinum songwriter and producer in 2009 Cherlise says: "It was unexpected, but it was definitely destiny. Rico became my collaborator and we worked together constantly for the next two years." So there’s no reason or doubt that she will be up next.

Her new project titled “Ground Zero” is set to release December 19, 2011. The first single slated to release from “Ground Zero” is entitled “Hollyhood”. This track features Poe Boy Music Group/Atlantic Records female emcee, Brianna. The two divas ignite this introductory single as the fume that is classy yet undeniably hood sassy with keen lyrics and dynamic melodies. “Ground Zero” will be a project of nine tracks from the songstress who is signed to R & B #1 Hit-maker, Rico Love. It will also include various accolades from the music industry’s most notable talents who support the songstress.

Cherlise on the concept of her mixtape:

"Ground Zero" fully encompasses everything I want my first mixtape to be about. It explains my journey in full detail and is self explanatory. Just when I think I'm getting somewhere, 1st record deal, 2nd record deal, everything seems to crumble. From relationships to career aspirations....it's my humble beginnings. It's an introduction to the audience of who I am and a quick glimpse into my struggle and quest for triumph. It's a chance for my fans to build and grow with me.”
